5/3/14-5/11/13: Check out the Beach Vacation blog…it’s full of photos!

5/12/14: Back to our regular activities, which include the playground. Since the snow is long gone, days are longer, and the little one has so much energy, trips to the park almost daily are necessary.IMG_2444

We’ll walk to daycare with an empty stroller to pick him up then head on over to the park for some fun times because this little guy has so much energy. He crawls up all the stairs to the twirl slide.IMG_2442Flies down the slick metal slide so fast he usually lands on his bottom.IMG_24535/14/14: Sometimes we have so much fun and do so many things that Cameron will fall to sleep at the dinner table; in the middle of eating. It is definitely that funniest sight to see. IMG_2460

5/17/14: Checking out mommy’s new shoes that she’s wearing around the house to get them broken in before Katie/Jim’s wedding…though all Cameron knows is that they are pretty.IMG_2465However, those shoes came off as we headed out to the get the backyard ready for another summer of fun. For Cameron this included taking the lawn mower for a ride. (No, it is not on.)

IMG_2478Cameron is also worked on mastering climbing the play set in our own backyard, and daddy used the slide to rest after a long day of yard work. IMG_2483Getting the garden beds already for the veggies to be put in. Step 1 is daddy using the rototiller. Step 2 is Cameron doing the detail work with a spoon.IMG_2484After a long weekend of working outside, both of these boys are tired. They are so much alike that their lounging positions are nearly identical.IMG_24885/20/14: Cameron helps mommy with quality controls checks on cookies being made to surprise the bride on her wedding day. IMG_2503Who wouldn’t love a tasty cookie on your wedding day?IMG_24985/22/14: We loaded up the car headed down the thruway to pass off Cameron to his grandparents for a long weekend. It was mommy and daddy’s first time away for 4 days/3 nights, and it was for a great event – Katie & Jim’s wedding. I was the Matron of Honor so we thought it was important to just go alone so I could do my “thing”. Plus Cameron did his own fun things while we were apart – though there is no photographic evidence.

Mommy all “glammed” up with the bride to be!IMG_2511Photo booth fun! IMG_25195/25/14: After a weekend full of wedding fun and kid-free time for mom/dad in Seneca Lake, we headed to Liverpool to meet the grandparent and to be reunited with Cameron again! We also made a quick stop to see the cousins and take a spin on their Hot Wheels vehicles. IMG_25225/27/14: Since I leave for work in the early hours of the morning, while everyone else is sleeping, Cameron gets daddy up when he wakes for the day. Then they get to cuddle up in bed and send me texts that include adorable pictures that make me wish I was at home!

IMG_25265/28/14: Having daddy move his office into the house also means more rides on the office chair! I wish I still found my office chair to be a fun time…IMG_25295/29/14: Mommy and Cameron selfie!IMG_2536

5/30/14: Today was a day full of play in the backyard after work, which included Cameron making soup in the backyard.IMG_2539Swinging on the play set.IMG_2545

Mowing the lawn.IMG_25465/31/14: Today we became official members of the Buffalo Zoo! Aunt Sabrina and I decided to walk to the zoo with Cameron in the stroller, then enjoy a day at the zoo. Including a ride on the carousel…IMG_2553A ride on the train…all by himself! He jumped right in a train car and sat patiently waiting.IMG_2580By the end of the day he was passed out in his stroller, yet Aunt Sabrina and I still had a long walk home! IMG_2595That finishes up a fun-filled month of March 2014 – from a beach trip, playing at the park, doing yard work and garden, spending time with grandparents while mom/dad were away, and visiting the zoo! Such fun we have, no wonder I never got around to blogging!
